Officials release identity of man who suffered medical issue before crash in Jefferson Twp.

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s office released the name of a man pronounced dead after a crash at the corner of West Third Street and Diamond Mill Road.

James Hamblin, 56, of New Lebanon was driving a black 1995 Dodge Ram pickup and traveling west on West Third Street when he crossed the center line at Diamond Mill Road. The pickup continued offf the left side of the roadway and struck a utility pole.

While deputies were enroute, the dispatch center advised citizens were performing CPR on Hamblin.

Hamblin was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
