Officers call for additional backup while responding to domestic violence incident

HARRISON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – A suspect is in custody after police issued a call for backup while responding to a domestic violence call.

Dispatch tells 2 NEWS it happened on Palisades Drive around 10 p.m.

Officers had a person at gunpoint and issued a brief “Signal 99” call for assistance with the situation but canceled the call less than two minutes later.

Police were able to take the suspect into custody.
