DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The University of Dayton dedicated a new residence on campus Thursday.
The Adele Center features 24 apartments, houses more than 90 students and has a multi-purpose area for residents to use.
The center is named after one of the founders of the Marianist family, who helped found the university in 1850.
“It’s a beautiful facility,” says student and R.A. Taylor Alexander. “I’m living there with my friends and got to know my neighbors and I think it really encompasses what community means to the University of Dayton.”
The new building is also ecofriendly, helping supply power to other buildings at the university.
