DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A new “Dragons Zone” is coming to Fifth Third Field this year. Officials say the kid-friendly area will feature an assortment of carnival games, face painting, special activities, and more.

The Dragons Zone will be behind the centerfield fence during Dragons home games and will include classic carnival games like Skee Roll, Bull Ringer, Lily Pad Launcher, Pop-a-Shot, and Duck Pond, just to name a few. All of the games will cost one dollar to play, with a chance to win prizes.

“The Dragons are always looking for ways to improve the entertainment experience on and off the field,” said Robert Murphy, Dragons President and General Manager.  “For 2019, we have made a big investment in our newly re-invented Dragons Zone located behind the batter’s eye in centerfield.  This updated space has a new look, a new feel, and caters to all ages of Dragons fans.  Think carnivalesque with green and white striped tents, prizes, and your favorite childhood games.  We can’t wait to share this area with fans by revealing it at our 20th Season Celebration game on Saturday, March 30.”
