Negotiations between WSU officials, faculty union to resume Friday afternoon

FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) – Negotiations between Wright State administration and AAUP-WSU will resume at 1 p.m. Friday, according to a union official.

A federal mediator will also be present in order to assist in the talks.

The two sides appeared to be making progress at the beginning of the week. They met Monday evening for nearly five hours but ultimately left without a final decision around 11 p.m.

With the university being closed Wednesday and Thursday, communication between the two groups has been light until tonight’s announcement.
