Narcotics search warrants in Sidney end in arrest

SIDNEY, Ohio (WDTN) – On Wednesday, investigators with the Sidney and Piqua Police Departments served two narcotics search warrants at locations believed to be linked together in distributing marijuana, edibles, and marijuana vape pens in the community.

At the two locations, investigators recovered large amounts of marijuana edibles, vape cartridges, marijuana, and a combined cash total of roughly $15,000.

32-year-old Ryan K. Oleary was arrested at 711 Lynn Street in Sidney. He faces one charge of drug trafficking, a third-degree felony.

The other warrant was served at 709 ½ S. Main Ave. in Sidney.

Charges against other individuals are likely to be filed at a later date, as the investigation remains ongoing.
