Local News

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is warning parents about a new drug circulating that looks like candy.

The drug, called Strawberry Quik, is a type of crystal meth that looks like Strawberry Pop Rocks.

The Sheriff’s Office says kids are eating the drug thinking it is candy and ending up in the hospital.

Deputies say this drug can also come in other flavors.

They want to remind parents to tell their kids not to accept any candy from strangers, especially if it looks like the substance pictured.
