DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton Children’s Hospital received a big donation Monday from Moms 4 Miracles.
The organization presented the oncology department with a $20,583.84 check raised during their annual golf outing in May.
The money will be used for the department’s new concierge program, which will provide concierge services for families so they can find necessary items they may need while their child is in the hospital.
“It changes the whole patient experience,” says Child Life Specialist Rita Falkenbach. “It makes everything easier for them and the family, and also for the nursing staff to make sure we’re providing the best care for the patients and the families.”
Moms 4 Miracles has donated more than $100,000 to Dayton Children’s Hospital to help children with cancer.
