Man wanted for child molestation in Florida believed to be in Miami Valley

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – U.S. Marshals and the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) is seeking information which will lead to the arrest of a wanted man in connection with a child molestation case in Florida.

Brian W. Carrier, 53, was last seen in the Dayton area, however, officials believe he is staying in a tent or white work van in the area of Montgomery and Preble Counties. Carrier may also be living in nearby camping areas and/or rural properties.

SOFAST says Carrier works in the construction trade as a certified plumber and, until recently, operated Carrier Plumbing in the Dayton area. His address is listed in the 1200 block of East Lindsey Ave, Miamisburg, Ohio.

Investigators say Carrier currently has an active Citrus County, Florida arrest warrant for lewd and lascivious molestation of a child and lewd and lascivious battery of a child while failing to turn himself in to the Citrus County Courts in Florida.

SOFAST and Florida Detectives have been unable to locate Carrier and are now asking for the public’s help. Carrier has brown hair, hazel eyes, and is about 6 feet tall and 250 pounds.
