DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Police say an argument between a man and women led to a shooting in Dayton Friday evening.

It happened around 6:45 p.m. in the 1200 block of Huffman Avenue.

In a call to 911, the woman tells dispatchers that she shot the man when he refused to leave her home. She says they were outside when she shot him and he then followed her into the house and remained there during the beginning of the call.

“Any consequences, I’m willing to accept them. But I asked him to leave,” she says, adding that he came into the home and robbed her before she shot him with his own gun.

Children were reportedly present at the time of the shooting.

There is no word on the extent of injuries, and it is not yet clear if any arrests have been made.
