SOUTH CHARLESTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A man is in critical condition after a single-vehicle crash in Clark County Monday.
The crash happened on Clifton Road in South Charleston around 4:15 p.m. Monday.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the man was driving a Honda Civic southwest on Clifton Road. The car ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected and went off the left side of the road.
The car hit a ditch and flipped over several times.
OSP says the man was not wearing his seatbelt. He was trapped inside the car for a short time before crews were able to get him out.
The man was taken by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital with critical injuries.
OSP closed Clifton Road for two hours to clear the scene.
South Charleston Police, Clark County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Madison Township Fire and EMS assisted OSP at the scene.
