HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – A man was arrested Monday night after running from Huber Heights officers and hiding in a nearby creek bed.

Around 7:40 pm, an officer was on patrol when he heard an argument between a male and female in the 5700 block of Fisher Road.

The officer discovered that the male had an active warrant for his arrest and upon attempting to arrest him, the male ran off into an apartment complex.

He rushed into an apartment and then ran out into the nearby woods.

Officers established a perimeter and found the man hiding in the creek bed.

He was arrested without further incident on his active warrant, obstructing official business, and burglary.
