Maineville man dies in head-on crash in Warren County

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) — A Maineville man died in a head-on crash in Warren County Sunday afternoon.

It happened just before noon Sunday on S.R. 48 in Hamilton Township.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says 63-year-old Brian Young from Maineville wsa driving on south on S.R. 48 when his pickup truck crossed the center line and hit another pick-up truck.

Troopers say young was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Medics took him to Arrow Springs Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the other pickup truck was wearing a seat belt. Medics took him to Bethesda North Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Troopers say a passenger in the other pickup truck was taken to Arrow Springs Hospital and later moved to University of Cincinnati Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Alcohol and drugs are not suspected as factors in the crash.

OSP is investigating the crash.
