ENGLEWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) – Lt. Gov. Jon Husted helped the Miami Valley wrap up In Demand Jobs Week with by attending a groundbreaking ceremony at the Miami Valley Career Technical Center.
It marks the beginning of an expansion project for the facility.
“We cannot grow as a state, and the Miami Valley cannot grow economically if it doesn’t have the talent the businesses need. Schools like this are leading the way and helping to create the training opportunities, the educational opportunities that help employers and students find a way to advance everybody’s interests,” says Husted.
The new building will provide additional learning space for about 1,800 juniors and seniors.
