BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) – Officials have released 911 calls that prompted a major police response to a Beavercreek church Saturday night.
Beavercreek Police say the call was made in reference to the Dayton Student House of Prayer. The caller claimed he had shot someone and that he had taken hostages at the church.
That claim was determined to be false.
In the 911 call, the suspect says his name is Michael, but refuses to give dispatchers his phone number.
He says he just shot someone and that he had taken two hostages, and “might take more.”
