Dispatchers say the call came in around 11:40 a.m. at the Preserve at Sagebrook Apartment complex.

In a press conference Friday afternoon, Chief Ronald Hess with the Miami Township Police Department confirmed that a McClendon and a 5-year-old child were both found dead at the scene. A 27-year-old woman was transported to the hospital where she remains in critical condition.

The full press conference can be found below:

A woman called 911 and told dispatchers her son's father had just killed his girlfriend and her son. The woman also told dispatchers the man put a gun to his head and hung up the phone.

In another 911 call, a man told dispatchers he just killed his girlfriend and her son and was about to kill himself. The suspect told dispatchers "I'm sorry."

The man who called 911 can also be heard saying he spent three and a half years in the army overseas and is "just tired."  The man then hung up the phone.

From there, 911 took calls from four different people saying they had just watched the man shoot himself on Facebook Live. The video has since been removed.

Chief Hess said that upon initial investigation, the man does not appear to have any prior criminal history.

Apartments nearby were evacuated as a precaution so responders could secure the area.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, along with Miami Township police were on-scene. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations also responded.
