A woman in connection to the shooting death of a babysitter in Dayton was sentenced Tuesday.

A judge sentenced 27-year-old Kara Parisi-King to 15 years-to-life in prison in connection to the shooting death of 20-year-old Taylor Brandenburg.

Brandenburg was babysitting at the time when Parisi-King and two others went to a house on Huffman Avenue and shot at the person and missed. The bullet struck and ultimately killed Brandenburg.

Thirty-six-year-old Evan Cassell was sentenced to 18-years-to-life in prison in November 2017 in connection to Brandenburg’s death. and 38-year-old Chuckie Lee

Trial for 38-year-old Chuckie Lee, who is the third person in connection to this case, is scheduled for June 18.
