Investigators work to learn cause of vacant house fire in Moraine

MORAINE, Ohio (WDTN) — Investigators are working to learn what caused a vacant house fire in Moraine early Thursday.

Crews responded to reports of a house on fire on E. Venetian Way, near Cottage Road, just after 12:30 a.m. Thursday.

When firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from a home.

Crews were able to put out the fire. The house was heavily damaged.

No one was injured.

Fire oficials say the house was vacant.
