Inmate captured after escaping Montgomery County Jail while working trash detail

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) – A Montgomery County Jail inmate who escaped during trash detail Tuesday evening has been captured.

Dispatch confirmed with 2 NEWS that 28-year-old Dillon Watson was found inside a home off of Neff Road in Harrison Township.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and other local law enforcement, including a K9 unit, had been searching for Watson since he escaped around 8 p.m.

His jail jumpsuit was found outside of the jail and he was believed to be wearing white thermal underwear.

He was booked into Montgomery County Jail on charges of disorderly conduct and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and will now face at least one additional charge for his escape.
