BROOKVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) — All lanes of I-70 westbound have reopened after a semi crash Wednesday night.

The crash happened on I-70 near the Arlington Road exit in Brookville.

A semi hauling watermelons flipped on it side, initially blocking all lanes of traffic.

Authorities blocked I-70 between Arlington Road and State Route 503.

The semi driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle while trying to avoid the car in front of him.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Clay Township Police, and Butler Township Fire and EMS responded to the scene.

Crews were called in to remove the load of watermelons from the semi before it could be towed away.

No injuries were reported.
