PREBLE COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) – A semi overturned Monday morning closing the eastbound lanes of I-70.
The accident happened around 9:00 am on I-70 at US-127, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers say the semi-truck was traveling east when it ran off the right side of the road into a ditch. The driver swerved to bring the semi back onto the road when it overturned.
OSP says no one was injured in the crash.
Traffic in the area is backed up and drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible. Crews are on the scene working to right the semi and clear the roadway.
Traffic is being allowed to pass on the right-hand shoulder but the lanes are still closed.
The crash is still under investigation.
