DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The company in the process of developing the Fire Blocks project has bought one of the oldest high-rise buildings in Dayton.

Columbus-based Windsor Companies acquired the Grant-Deneau Tower on West Fourth Street, according to our partners at the Dayton Business Journal.

The 22-story building is roughly 200 thousand square feet and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, dating back to 1969.

The company plans to transform the vacant building into a mixed-use property of hotel, office, and residential use.

The tower was formerly the site of Premier Health’s headquarters until the organization relocated to 110 N. Main St. in 2012.
