HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) – A drug trafficking investigation ended Wednesday with one man in jail and the seizure of fentanyl, cash and a stolen weapon.
The Montgomery County Regional Agencies Narcotics & Gun Enforcement (R.A.N.G.E.) Task Force raided a home in the 4000 block of Fleetwood Drive in Harrison Township armed with a search warrant Wednesday.
During the search, detectives found fentanyl, U.S. currency and a stolen handgun in the home, according to a release from the Montgomery County R.A.N.G.E. Task Force.
Jamil Barker, 29, was arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on weapons charges. The case will be reviewed by the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office and more charges may be forthcoming.
The case remains under investigation.
