Greenville PD issues arrest warrant for shooting suspect

GREENVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – Police are searching for a Greenville man accused of shooting an Indiana man last week.

Just after 7 p.m. on March 21, Greenville Police officers and rescue personnel responded to the 400 block of Central Avenue on reports of a male with a gunshot wound.

Upon arrival, officials found an injured 25-year-old man from Richmond, Indiana. He was taken to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight.

An investigation uncovered that 50-year-old David A. Green, of Greenville, Ohio, fired one round from a shotgun inside a residence in the 400 block of Central Avenue and struck the victim.

A warrant has been issued for Green’s arrest.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact law enforcement immediately. Green is believed to be armed and dangerous.
