Funeral services set for family killed in wrong-way crash

MORAINE, Ohio (WDTN) – Funeral services are set for the family killed in a wrong-way crash on I-75 in Moraine on Sunday.

Tim, Karen, and Tessa Thompson will be laid to rest on March 26 at St. Susanna Catholic Church in Mason.

Visitation will also be at St. Susanna on Monday and a second memorial mass will be held in Maumee, Ohio, at a future date.

The Warren County family was hit head-on by a 21-year-old Xenia woman, who remains in the hospital.

Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor to the crash.
