Fuel spill causes backup on I-75 in Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Leaking fuel caused problems on I-75 in Dayton early Thurdsay.

Authoriites say a tanker spilled some fuel in the southbound lanes of I-75, just past Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, just after 5 a.m. Thursday.

Crews were called to clean up the spill.

Authorities shut down the center and right lanes of I-75 southbound just past Edwin C. Moses Boulevard while crews worked to clean up the area. All lanes reopened around 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

There’s no word on what caused the spill.
