DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Dayton Foodbank will hold a mass distribution event on Friday, September 28 for people in need of food assistance.
The distribution will be held at the University of Dayton’s Welcome Stadium between 9 am and 11 am.
Interested individuals can come to Welcome Stadium during that time and receive fresh produce and other products at no cost.
CareSource is sponsoring the event and will help to pass out food in a drive-thru setting.
CEO of The Foodbank, Michelle Riley, said, “There are 93,210 individuals in Montgomery County alone who do not know where their next meal is coming from and we don’t want to see anyone go hungry in the Miami Valley. With support from CareSource, The Foodbank looks forward to serving those in need through this mass distribution.”
