Fire officials believe a tornado damaged Greene Co barns

Local News

2 NEWS Reporter Ethan Fitzgerald was on Ludlow Road in Greene County where several barns were damaged by the storms.

The Beavercreek Fire Department told 2 NEWS they believe a tornado touched down in that area. The National Weather Service will need to confirm that and will be on the scene Wednesday surveying the area.

Fire officials say two barns suffered tornado-like damage.

Ludlow Road is closed while crews and residents cope with the debris.

2 NEWS Reporter Dana Smith spoke to a woman who said a tree crashed into her home in Harrison Township Tuesday.

The woman said that she is fine but you can see the damage from the inside of the house as the tree made a huge gap in the roof.

There was flooding and road closures throughout the day in the Miami Valley.
