Fire destroys 2 vehicles in Huber Heights

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) — Crews worked quickly to stop a fire from spreading from vehicles to a home in Huber Heights early Thursday.

The fire started around 6:45 a.m. Thursday on Timber Hill Drive, near Taylorsville Road.

Fire officials say someone parked a vehicle in the driveway of a home to warm it up. When the people came out of the house, the vehicle was on fire.

That fire spread to another vehicle parked in the driveway.

Both vehicles were destroyed by the fire.

Crews were able to knock down the flames to stop the fire from spreading to the house.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
