FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) — The countdown is complete and the strike has begun at Wright State University.
Members of the Faculty Union hit the picket lines at 8 a.m. Tuesday, walking off the job due to failed contract negotiations with the Board of Trustees.
The union filed a notice to strike after rejecting the last contract offer from the Board of Trustees.
Classes will continue on all Wright State campuses. WSU President Dr. Cheryl Schrader says all classes will be covered by qualified professionals during the strike.
