A Dayton Police cruiser was involved in a crash in Harrison Township Tuesday morning.

Police say officers were responding to an accident at N. Main St. and Macy Street in Harrison Township.

According to police, one vehicle did not move out of the way, instead stopping in the left lane of Shoup Mill Road, near Riverton Road.

The police cruiser also stopped. Moments later, the vehicle began moving again.

When the police cruiser also resumed moving, the vehicle in front slammed on its brakes. The police cruiser rear-ended the vehicle.

Police say no one was hurt.

The woman driving the vehicle was cited for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, according to police.

All lanes of traffic on Shoup Mill Road reopened just after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
