Driver flees scene of crash that killed Dayton woman

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Dayton woman was killed early Sunday morning after her vehicle crossed paths with a stolen car.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office confirmed that 26-year-old Alesia Brown died in the collision on Germantown Street and Ernroe Drive around 12:23 a.m. on Sunday.

Police say one of the cars involved in the crash was reported stolen by University of Dayton police.

The occupants fled from the scene on foot, while the passenger in Brown’s car was critically injured.

Police are still looking for the driver and investigating what happened.
