Downed tree blocks road in Carriage Hill MetroPark

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) — A downed tree blocked a road in Carriage Hill MetroPark in Huber Heights Thursday morning.

Five Rivers MetroParks Police found the downed tree on Shull Road around 4:45 a.m. Thursday. Police say the tree fell near riding stables at the MetroPark, damaging a fence.

Authorities blocked Shull Road at Brandt Pike due to the downed tree. Huber Heights Police and a tree clearing service were called to the scene.

No injuries were reported.

Authorities say Shull Road would likely be closed until at least 7 a.m. for crews to remove the tree and clear the scene.
