Don’t miss your chance to meet some of the Blue Angels team

TIPP CITY, Ohio (WDTN) – If you are in downtown Tipp City Friday you may spot some popular visitors.

Member of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels will be “On the Loose” in downtown Tipp City as part of the team’s initiative to participate in the local community.

The Blue Angels are in town for the Dayton Air Show June 23 and 24 at Dayton International Airport.

Blue Angel pilots #3 Major Jeff Mullins, #4 Lt Commander Nate Scott, #5 Lieutenant Tyler Davies and five other team members will stroll around downtown Tipp City on Friday, June 22nd to meet and greet citizens of the community. 

If you’d like to go meet them, here’s their itinerary:

  • 8:30 AM   Grounds for Pleasure Coffeehouse, 115 E Main Street
  • 9 AM   Sam and Ethel’s, 120 E Main Street
  • 9:30 AM   VFW Tipp City, 121 E Main Street
  • 10 AM   Tipp City Public Library with the Kids, 11 E Main St

“What a nice thing for the Blues to do in a nearby community,” said Scott Buchanan, Chairman of the United States Air and Trade Show (USATS) Board of Trustees, producers of the show. “This will be a lot of fun and a chance for young and old alike to meet team members on a more personal level,” he added.
