MORAINE, Ohio (WDTN) – Dixie Dairy Dreem held a candlelight vigil and balloon launch in remembrance of owner Ron Enderle, who lost his battle with leukemia last week.

Members of the community as well as past and present employees gathered to share memories of Ron and honor his memory.

“He always saw potential in someone, like I remember interviewing with him and he said, ‘What do you want to use your money for? What are you saving up for?’ and I was like, ‘I’m going to go to college. I’m going to save my money for that.’ And he was like ‘Okay, let’s make it happen,’ and now I’m a graduate student and he impacted that decision greatly,” said former employee Emma Sule.

Ron’s daughter says she appreciates everyone who showed support for her father.
