DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Dayton Wolverines Track Club hosted its annual kindergarten through 8th grade track and field meet.

The club formed in 2009 and focuses on teaching kids the fundamentals of running track as well as how to fulfill their potential.

Club members learn the proper techniques for success and are challenged to do their best, while supporting and respecting their community.

Volunteer coach Dwayne Coker says, “This tournament has about 15-16 teams from all over: Indiana, Michigan, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Dayton.”

The club welcomes kids ages 5 to 18 and is free to join.
