Dayton VA Medical Center helping veterans enroll for healthcare

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The Dayton VA Medical Center is helping veterans get health care Wednesday.

There will be three classes offered at the multi-purpose room in building 305. The times are 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Each class will cover eligibility and enrollment for VA healthcare. Veterans can also get help filling out the application.

Representatives from the Veterans Benefits Administration and the National Cemetery Administration will be available to answer questions as well.

Anyone interested in attending a class is encouraged to RSVP by calling 937-262-2159. 

If you’re going, bring copies of their DD214, driver’s license or state ID, social security card, insurance cards (front and back), power of attorney (if applicable), last year’s gross income, and last year’s non-reimbursable medical expenses.
