Dayton police officers rescue 9 ducklings from storm drain

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Nine ducklings in dire straits were rescued by two on-duty officers with the Dayton Police Department Monday morning.

Officer Metzler and Officer Carroll helped fish all nine ducklings out of a storm drain at West Third Street and Perry Street.

All the while, the mother duck stood by watching the officers at work.
