DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Two mobile speed trailers will be on the move in Dayton in the coming days.
The Dayton Police Department says the two trailers will be at their new location beginning Monday, July 16th.
The trailers will be placed in the 900 block of Wilmington Avenue.
Police say the mobile trailers do not have a warning period. They will begin enforcement once they are in place Monday and will issue citations.
According to police, the trailers are deployed to areas with a higher number of crashes. The trailers are also sent to areas where a large number of people have complained about dangerous driving.
A third mobile speed trailer will remain at its current location in the 3300 block of North Main Street.
