DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The Dayton Police Department is asking for information from the public regarding a missing person case that they consider “suspicious.”

Maj. Brian Johns with the Dayton Police Department reported that 30-year-old Cierra J. Chapman was last seen in the early morning hours of Dec. 27 at an apartment complex in Trotwood.

Johns said Champman was there to exchange items with her ex-boyfriend around 4:30 a.m. Her car, a 2014 Silver Cadillac SRX SUV, license plate JVQ8612, was seen on video cameras leaving the complex.

On Dec. 29, Chapman’s sister, who she lives at a Dayton residence with, reported her missing.

Chapman’s vehicle was recovered on Jan. 6 on a neighborhood street in Middletown, however, she is not known to have any friends or family in Middletown.

According to Johns, there has been no contact with Chapman by any of her friends or family and there are no financial records.

Chapman is said to be a Black female with brown hair and brown eyes, 115 pounds in weight and 5 feet 5 inches tall.

If you have any information, Dayton police asked that you call 333-COPS to submit an anonymous tip or 222-STOP for CrimeStoppers. Johns said there is a cash reward for information that brings Chapman home.
