DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Foodbank is partnering with Wright-Patt Credit Union (WPCU) to set up a Hurricane Michael Relief Fund.

From Thursday, October 12 until Friday, October 19, donations will be collected to support those affected by the hurricane and other disasters.

CEO of The Foodbank, Michelle Riley, says, “Our thoughts go out to all those impacted by Hurricane Michael. Many Daytonians have local ties to residents on the East Coast. Those who are looking for a way to help can do so locally. Thank you to Wright Patt Credit Union and Sinclair Community College for continuously partnering with us to help during national disasters.”

Monetary donations can be made at any WPCU location under the account name “Hurricane Michael Relief Fund” or by visiting The Foodbank’s website.

If you would like to donate bottled water and canned goods, you can drop them off at Building 12 of Sinclair Community College, located on the corner of West Fourth Street and Perry Street between 10 am and 6 pm beginning Friday, October 12 until Wednesday, October 17.

Goods can also be taken to Ohio Medical Transport, located at 2740 West National Road from 8 am to 4 pm.
