Dayton homicide suspects arrested near Cincinnati

SHARONVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) — Two people wanted in connection with a homicide in Dayton, as well as several bank robberies in the Miami Valley, have been arrested near Cincinnati.

Dayton Police contacted Sharonville Police Wednesday about two suspects from a Dayton homicide in the area of Lebanon Road. The suspects were reportedly armed.

Sharonville Police found the suspects in a vehicle. The suspects fled in the vehicle as officers approached.

Officers pursued the vehicle before it crashed on Glendale-Milford Road near Wyscarver Drive. Both suspects were taken into custody.

Authorities say the two suspects, a man and a woman, are linked to a homicide on Maryland Avenue in Dayton.

26-year-old Donald E. Armstrong III from Cincinnati died after being shot inside an apartment on Maryland Avenue Wednesday. A witness said Armstrong was shot in the head and neck.

Both suspects are also linked to several bank robberies in Oakwood, Dayton and Beavercreek.

The vehicle the suspects fled in was stolen in an aggravated robbery in Huber Heights.

Both suspects are being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center.
