Dayton Foodbank hands out fresh food in Greene County

DAYTON, OHIO (WDTN) – The Dayton Foodbank held a fresh-food distribution at the Wright State Nutter Center on Friday.

Organizers gave away fruits, vegetables, and more, to residents in need.

The food drive helps feed thousands of people in the community.

Laura Davenport, manager of the Dayton Foodbank, said, “There are over 21,000 people in Greene County alone who don’t know where their next meal is coming from and we’ve got to come together to make sure that everyone is available to fresh food.”
