DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The City of Dayton will be moving forward with their contract for Triangle Park.
The bid was under review as former commissioner Joey Williams faces federal charges in relation to taking bribes in return for construction contracts.
Current Dayton employee RoShawn Winburn is also facing charges alleging he directed federal money to businesses who did not apply for it.
Wednesday, Dayton city commissioners voted to approve the over $900,000 bid.
The city is working with the NFL to renovate Triangle Park for a Bengals practice scrimmage set to take place in late July or early August.
