DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton Children’s Hospital is getting national attention.
In a new list released Tuesday from U.S. News and World Report, the Dayton Children’s Hospital Pulmonary division is among the top 50 children’s hospitals in the country.
2 NEWS spoke with Nicole Debord, a local mother who has two children with cystic fibrosis and she said her children have been visiting the Dayton facility for more than 12 years for treatment.
Debord said, “The staff has always been people that we can trust and that’s really important. Especially when it comes to your kids’ lungs and their well-being. Their lives are being prolonged because of the staff there.”
Dayton Children’s says asthma is the top reason children are admitted to the hospital.
