Darke County teen dies from injuries after ATV lands on him

VERSAILLES, Ohio (WDTN) — A Darke County teen has died from injuries he received after an ATV crash Sunday.

The Darke County Sheriff’s Office says 16-year-old Trevor Huber from New Weston, Ohio died Tuesday evening at Miami Valley Hospital.

CareFlight transported Huber to the hospital after an ATV crash in Darke County Sunday.

The accident happened just after 4:30 p.m. Sunday on Mangen Road, near S.R. 185, in Versailles.

The Darke County Sheriff’s Office said Huber was riding a four-wheeler when he ran off the road and crashed into a ditch.

The ATV landed on top of the teen, pinning him underneath. CareFlight took Huber to Miami Valley Hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
