DARKE COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) — Deputies in Darke County were on scene at a crash near Greenville.

According to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of OH-502 and Greenville-Nashville Road, just west of Greenville. The crash occurred around 12:25 p.m. on Oct. 29.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash, with injuries reported.

Preliminary investigation shows a Dodge Challenger was traveling eastbound on State Route 502 and failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Greenville-Nashville Road. A Chevy Cruze was traveling eastbound on State Route 502 and was attempting to turn left onto Greenville-Nashville Road when it was reportedly struck by the Challenger.

Both drivers were injured. The Challenger driver was transported by MICU to Miami Valley Hospital. The Cruze driver was transported to Wayne Hospital.

Darke County was assisted by Greenville Township Fire and Rescue, Greenville City Fire and Rescue and Union City Rescue.

This incident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
