PIQUA, Ohio (WDTN) – At least three fire departments responded to a house fire in Piqua Monday morning.

The Piqua, Covington, and Fletcher fire departments all responded to reports of a fire at a home in the 500 block of Scott Street.

Our friends at the Piqua Daily Call report that the two-story home was vacant when the fire broke out and no injuries have been reported.

The home was reportedly listed for sale.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire started in the basement of the home.

It is unknown at this time exactly what caused the fire.
