TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) — Crews were responding to a house fire in Trotwood on Monday night.

According to officials, crews were sent to a fire at the 5400 block of West Third Street at approximately 8:52 p.m.

Trotwood fire crews on the scene reported that flames could be seen coming out the second-floor bedroom window.

Everyone made it out, however, the family was displaced as the house is said to be a total loss.

Fire crews said there were no working smoke detectors in the home.

It is unknown at this time what led up to the fire.
