DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The Dayton Fire Department responded to a house fire in Dayton on Monday afternoon.
The fire started at the 1200 block of Everett Drive, according to officials. Crews attempted to fight the fire internally, but the intense flames forced them to battle the fire from outside the building.
District Fire Chief Adam Landis reported that no one was inside the home, however, a firefighter sustained a minor injury to the leg.
The home is said to be a total loss but the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
